White Ribbon Australia
We're helping stop men's violence against women.
We have partnered with White Ribbon Australia to raise awareness for the world's largest movement, encouraging men and boys to see violence against women as their problem to fix, not a problem for women to tolerate. Our dynamic QR codes on batteries link to support pages, providing valuable resources and information.
Battery Stewardship Council
We’ve partnered with B-cycle to help make a change.
We recently joined the Battery Stewardship Council as an accredited B-cycle participant. This is part of our commitment to sustainable business practices.
When a Fluro has reached the end of its effective use life, it is now safely recycled at a B-Cycle accredited facility. As over 90% of Australia’s used batteries end up in landfill, we’ve partnered with B-cycle to help make a change.
B-cycling creates economic opportunities for recyclers, and local manufacturers by reusing the precious materials in every battery. This means less rare earth metal mining, and more conservation of our natural landscapes.
